Character

1. Made the following changes to the XP/SP system.

  • All XP and SP values have been changed at the rate of 1/10,000.
  • The amount of XP needed to level up has been changed accordingly.
  • The amount of XP and SP accumulated by the character has been changed accordingly.
  • The amount of XP and SP awarded for in-game actions (killing monsters, completing quests etc.) has been changed accordingly.
  • The amount of SP needed to learn skills, abilities and to summon homunculi has been changed accordingly.

Tales of Hero

1. Added a new system called Tales of Hero.

  • The Tales of Hero skill is bound to the character. Its effects are applied to both the main and dual classes.
  • To increase the skill success rate, you may use special items as materials.
  • Items that can be used as materials are marked in the pop-up tooltip with a Tales of Hero icon. Double-click the special items to open the Tales of Hero UI.
  • Max success rate is 100%. If there are any points left after this threshold has been reached, they will be reset.
  • You may use the skill after the success rate reaches 10%.
  • Tales of Hero cannot be used in the Olympiad and world hunting zones.

2. Chapters are going to be unlocked step by step: the first 50 levels will appear on October 26, 2022.

  • Once the Tales of Hero skill reaches level 50/100/150/200, the character gains an additional skill and an Enhanced Rune Stone (cannot be exchanged).

Cursed Village

Fallen Angel Narcissus' influence has turned the desolate Cursed Village into an old-fashioned settlement with a serene and soothing atmosphere.

The Melody of Death rings throughout Aden, searching for warriors burdened by curses to move them to the Cursed Village.

The Cursed Village system is outlined below.

1. If a character's PK value has increased after killing a regular character, the killer will be transported to one of the Cursed Village zones according to their PK value.

  • You may check where the character is being transported in the character info window (Alt+C).

  • The character is moved to the Cursed Village only if their PK meter increases due to their actions on their home server.
  • If the PK meter has increased in the cross-server zones (the Conquest or the Tower of Insolence), the character won't be transported back to the Cursed Village after returning back to their home server.
  • Characters who have been transported to one of the zones in the Cursed Village cannot leave it until certain requirements are met.
  • The requirements are listed in the special Cursed Village UI that becomes available after moving to one of the zones.
  • Narcissus' might prevents characters in the Cursed Village from leaving it (escape, movement and summoning skills, My Teleport, teleport to session zones, Ceremony of Chaos, Olympiad and the Conquest world are not available).
  • It is also not possible to leave the zone by rebooting the game or dying and coming back to life.
  • Your PK meter doesn't go up if you've killed someone by Cursed Weapon. Hence, you are not transported to the Cursed Village.

2. When a character is transported to the Cursed Village, a special system message appears.

Message
The death melody has found a warrior whose soul is cursed, and brough them to the Cursed Village.

3. The following conditions must be met for the character to escape the Fallen Angel Narcissus' power and leave the Cursed Village.

  • To leave the zone, you have to spend enough time there and collect the necessary items.
  • It is also possible to pay a certain amount of adena and leave the zone immediately.

  • If the conditions are not met in 30 days, the character will be transported outside the Cursed Village whether they are online or not.

4. If a character has left the Cursed Village by fulfilling the requirement listed above, they will receive reputation points.

  • If a character hasn't fulfilled the requirements and was transported out of the Cursed Village automatically, they will not receive reputation points.

5. Whenever you approach a Cursed Village zone, a system message with the name of the zone will appear. The character will also receive a buff called Melody of the Night.

  • While the buff is active, the character will be holding a blue hand fan instead of their weapon.

6. Cursed Village has been added to the teleport list. You may now travel there at any time.

  • Teleport → Rune → Cursed Village

PK System changes

1. Due to the updating of the Cursed Village, the PK and reputatio values of all characters have been reset.

2. The effects of some skills have been improved to prevent the PK meter from going up during auto-hunting.

  • The effects of skills that affect surrounding enemies no longer work on purple targets, except for forced attacks

Dark Eternal Armor Upgrade

1. Increased the number of Dark Armor Enhancement Stones required to upgrade Dark Eternal Armor to Ultimate one when you visit a Blacksmith of Mammon.

Pack Auto-use

1. Added an Auto Use System that allows to open packs automatically.

  • Pack Auto Use icon is located to the right of the Crystallize icon in the inventory.
  • You can open Pack Auto Use UI by pressing +right mouse button or by dragging the item to the Auto Use Icon in the Inventory.
  • The Auto Use allows you to open all the packs, boxes and packages in your inventory. You cannot use this function if max weight or slot number of your inventory is exceeded.
  • You can minimize (hide) Pack Auto Use UI by pressing the corresponding button in the upper right corner.
  • Rare items obtained though Auto Use are highlighted with corresponding color.
  • When you add an item to the pack auto-use UI, packs, chests and boxes in the inventory will turn red and you will not be able to use or destroy them.
  • You cannot use Collections or Mail during Chest Auto-use.
  • You can add the item to the Chest Auto-use UI by dragging it from the inventory, clicking on it in the pack auto-use mini-inventory.
  • Pack auto-use stops when a character teleports, dies, exits the game.

1. Dragon Weapon Augmenting Stone is now called Dark Augmenting Stone.

2. You may now insert two common Soul Crystals into Antharas', Valakas', Lindvior's and Fafurion's weapons.

  • Common Soul Crystals can be inserted into standard, high-grade and top-grade weapons.

3. Shillien's Soul Crystals Lv. 1-10 can be stored into one inventory slot.

4. Heavenly Talisman can now be exchanged/ dropped/ sold in a private store/ sold/ stored in the clan warehouse.

5. Sealed Heavenly Talisman cannot be exchanged through Seed Talisman Manager anymore.

Skills

Feoh Wizards

1. Made changes to some of the Feoh Wizard skills.

  • The following channeling skills of the Feoh Wizard class are now regular magic skills: Meteor, Black Pool, Blizzard, Tornado, Spirit Bomb.
  • The power and the casting time of the skills have been changed accordingly.
  • The cooldown of the skills has been changed to 45 sec. They are also now affected by cooldown reduction effects.
  • The correlating debuffs will now be capped at Lv. 3. They include Ignite, Black Shackle, Freezing Slow, Wind Binding and Soul Weakness.
  • The properties of the debuffs has been changed accordingly.

Hunting Zones

Baium and the Tower of Insolence

1. Added boss Baium to the top floor of the world session zone Tower of Insolence.

  • To begin the Baium raid, players need to pass through the space-time rift in the center of the 9th floor of Tower of Insolence. It will be open every Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. Only one character may enter at a time.
  • Only characters that belong to clans controlling Aden Castle or Rune Castle on their respective servers can participate in the raid. Verification is conducted when the character enters through the rift.
  • At the end of the raid for 5 minutes loot privileges are given to the command channel, party, character that contributed the most to the victory over Baium.
  • The top floor of the Tower of Insolence is a combat zone.

2. Added 9th Floor to the world session zone Tower of Insolence.

  • To teleport to the 9th Floor, talk to NPC who is in charge of teleports in the Tower of Insolence.
  • Tower of Insolence (9th Floor) is a group hunting zone as well as a battle zone.

3. Changed the loot drops of monsters on the 1-8 Floors of the world session zone Tower of Insolence and the amount of XP Loot for killing them.

4. Added a debuff that decreases attack power when Cruel Thunderous Roar and Cruel Execution are used.

  • Added a debuff that increases received damage and cancels the invincibility effect when attacked by Thunder God's Rage.

5. Modified the rewards for killing monsters on every floor of the Tower of Insolence.

  • Dimensional Tales may now be acquired with a certain chance as a reward for killing monsters on every floor of Tower of Insolence.

Kastia's Labyrinth

Session Zones

  • Changed the names of the hunting zones and expanded the zones for characters of level 115 and higher.
  • To get to the new hunting zones, first you need to move to the teleportation areas. There, if your level is high enough, you may teleport to the new hunting zone via a portal.
  • To get to the inner areas of the new hunting zones, talk to teleporter NPCs stationed near the portals. You may also use them to get back to the lobby.

Other Hunting Zone Changes

1. Changed the difficulty of the instance zone where command channel raids fight Antharas.

2. Goddess Statue Keeper can no longer be summoned using Genesis Goddess Statue in the Garden of Genesis.

3. Angel Statue Keeper and Fountain Keeper can no longer be summoned using Genesis Angel Statue and Fountain of Genesis in the Garden of Genesis.

4. Removed the additional XP/SP rewards that could be claimed be the channel/party leader for killing certain raid bosses in the field and instance zones.

5. Fixed a bug that caused the Dragon Valley hunting zone to be marked as a party hunting zone on the map.

6. Changed the amount of rewards in all the zones of the world of Conquest.

Auction House

1. You can sell adena through the Auction House.

  • You can register it in the Auction House almost the same way as items.
  • You may register 100,000,000 adena at once. The lower limit to register is 100 000 000 adena, the upper limit is 10,000,000,000 adena.
  • The Adena section has no separate search window.
  • One unit of the Adena section is evaluated at 100,000,000 adena.

2. The Auction House system is now called Auction.

Clan Shop

1. Changed the price of some items in the shop.

UI

1. Added an exit button to the session zone UI.

  • Press the exit button to leave the session zone.
  • You cannot leave a session zone by using escape items and skills. Using them will teleport you to the starting point instead.
  • The exit button is also available in the world session zones.
  • The exit button can only be used out of combat.
  • If you press the exit button while you character is dead, you will be teleported from the zone but the character will remain dead.
  • Characters can no longer be resurrected in castles, fortresses or Clan Halls after they die in a session zone.
  • Escape items and skills that teleport the character to a specific spot will no longer be available in session zones.
  • When a character dies in a session zone, a 'Back to the starting point' button will appear. Press the button to resurrect at the starting point of the session zone. (Lost XP will not be refunded.)

2. Added automatic enchantment system.

  • To use the new function, click on the Single Item Enchanting tab in the enchantment UI.
  • Automatic enchantment works similarly to Enchant Scrolls, but in case of failure the item is not destroyed and the enchantment level remains the same.
  • To start automatic enchantment, add an Enchant Scrolls to the enchantment UI and press the Auto Enchant button.
  • Automatic enchantment will finish when all the added Enchant Scrolls run out or after a success.

3. Improved the enchant UI.

  • The chosen Enchant Scrolls will no longer be reset after switching between separate and mass enchantment.

4. Moved the [Cancel] button in the compound window to the right to reduce the risk of accidental cancelling.

5. Improved the teleport UI.

  • Added a name search option.
  • Added an option that lets players sort their favorites by the teleportation point, level or name.
  • Added a scroll button.

6. It now costs 300,000 adena to teleport to hunting zones and towns.

7. Some teleportation zones have been changed.

  • Cruma Tower has been removed from the list of teleportation zones.
  • Frozen Labyrinth has been removed from the list of teleportation zones. Ice Merchant Cabin has been renamed to Frozen Labyrinth.
  • Freya's Garden has been removed from the list of teleportation zones. To teleport to Freya's Garden, talk to NPC Rafforty in the Frozen Labyrinth teleportation zone.

8. The Skill window and the Actions window have been merged.

9. Improved the tattoo system UI.

  • Changed the text layout, the typeface and the highlights to make the UI easier to read.
  • Added information about the amount of dyes that the character will be refunded to the tattoo removal window.

Collections

1. Improved the collections UI.

  • Items that cannot be added to a collection because their enchant value is too high are now highlighted in blue.
  • The following color ranking is used: you can add (yellow) → too low enchant value (red) → too high enchant value (blue). If the levels are stacked, the color of the highest level is displayed.

2. Now the tooltip displays the number of kept items in the collection interface, in the additional inventory window.

1. Expanded macros to include up to 20 lines.

2. Improved Soul Crystals, their properties and skill descriptions.

  • The properties that the Soul Crystals grant are now listed in their descriptions.

3. Fixed a bug that caused the appearance of male Orcs to be displayed incorrectly after equipping Antharas Fighter.

7. Fixed a bug that prevented players from using Destruction Scrolls: Enchant Weapon/ Armor to enchant items.
